PTSD
What is PTSD?
Post-traumatic stress disorder can take many forms, but the root of its symptoms lies in a past traumatic event. Individuals with PTSD are triggered by events, flashbacks, or other signs that remind them of past trauma. Reliving this trauma can lead to increased feelings of anxiety or terror, often causing the person to completely shut down.
